RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and analyze database architecture and designs
- Consult developers to follow the best practice of database performance, housekeeping and optimization.
- Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies for DB management
- Summarize monthly report of database incidents, performance and work with Application teams to solve/improve
- Collaborate with data team to develop data pipelines based on their requirement
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in database administration of RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Experience in public cloud technologies
- Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
- Able to learn programming skills such as Scale, Java or Python
- Experience in Linux operating system
- Hands-on experience with database troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Able to work effectively both as part of a team
- Good personal skill for reading and speaking
- Ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate the work of others
- Able to deal and handle difficult situations and work under time constraints
